Zimbabwe arrived safely in Dakar and have not had any issues or concerns from the team that is there. This is their 1st visit in recent years.
The union hired a new coach last year and is happy with him. There has been continuity in team selection and technical staff for this tour. Blessing Chiutare, Zimbabwe Rugby Union CEO told us how comfortable they were with this team which has all its chances for this season : “Zimbabwe Rugby Union is looking forward to staying in this tournament in 2018 and the long time to come and is not facing any challenges participating.”
