I have always loved rugby and was one of the first women to pass a rugby ball, albeit in the wrong direction. Rugby grew in Zimbabwe at a whirlwind pace and I did not want to get left behind. SoI climbed on, held on tight –captained Zimbabwe in the number 10 jersey. I then picked up the whistle, and 16 years later I’mstill refereeing. I acquired my level 2, 7s and 15s certificates, became a World Rugby Educator and Citing Commissioner – mentoring the top female referees in Africa. I was appointed first female referee president! Crazy whirlwind – and still going

FESTIVE MESSAGE: 2020 was a great year but in 2021 there is so much more to come. I am very thankful for the unstoppable women in Zimbabwe who have passion and drive for our sport. Have a Merry festive season.
