Paris 7s – The HSBC tournament comes to an end. Paris 7s closes its doors after 2 days of intensive competition while London gets ready to welcome the last stage of the circuit.

Africa didn’t perform at its best in Paris and we expected better from them. Kenya ends with a score of 7 to 26 in front of Australia and South Africa lost 17 to 7 against Australia as well, allowing them to win the Plate. Final ranking, our two teams are then respectively in the 7th and 2nd position !

In Paris, African Rugby was well represented. Indeed, Abdelaziz Bougja Rugby Africa’s chairman and Oregan Hoskins SARU’s chairman found themselves in the Blitzboks’ changing rooms shortly before their entrance on the field. They took advantage of this opportunity to express their pride and remind that we were only one team : Africa.

The speech may have inspired our teams because once again, Seabelo Senatla was crowned best try scorer with 10 tries, far ahead of Duarte Moreira from Portugal who put 6 tries.
