The Ghana Rugby Club Championship Sevens Men and Women week one started on an excellent note with the participation of ten(10) men’s teams and four(4) ladies’ teams. The teams include:

It was great to see players’ excitement to be back on the field with so much enthusiasm and passion for the game of rugby.

The competition will be played every weekend for 4 weeks from the 10th to the 31st of August 2024. A winner is then crowned based on accumulated match points over the 4 weeks. This formula is going to be for both men and women.

The beautiful thing about this championship is not about winning but participation. Kudos to all the teams especially those coming from the Northern Region-Tamale.

Thanks to all the club managers, coaches, players, officiating officials, medics, volunteers, and all who contributed in one way or the other to make it a success.
