Dubai 7s – The HSBC World Series, is the place to be to watch 7s rugby nowadays ! An event which started in 1999 already and keeps attracting more and more fans year after year. For this 2015-2016 season, 15 teams will compete : Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, Fiji, France, Kenya, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, the Samoa, the Scotland, South Africa, the United States and Wales.
This world tour began in Dubai last weekend will make a stop in Cape Town (South Africa), Wellington (New Zealand), Sydney (Australia), Las Vegas (United States), Vancouver (Canada), Hong-Kong (China), Singapore, Paris (France) and London (England).
In Dubai, Africa didn’t perform so well… Like an old diesel car, it starts slowly but holds itself better on long distances !

We are happy to report though that two South Africans made it to the Top 10 of the best scorers of the weekend. The loyal and reliable, Seabelo Senatla is in the second position with 7 tries and Justin Geduld in the fourth position with 5 tries.
.The second round will take place in the magnificent city Cape Town the December 12th and 13th. A novelty for the South African mother city who welcomes this tournament for the first time, after it was hosted for several years a couple of hundred of kilometers away in the city of Port-Elizabeth. All our African teams will be in the Pool B which will also have a special guest : Zimbabwe !
