The Vice President of Ghana Rugby Union is suspended from all involvement in rugby activities for a period of 5 years.
Mr. Patrick Bradshaw: World Rugby accredited Legal Officer (Single Judge), was appointed to rule on the case of Mr. James Nunoo and Ms. Coralie van den Berg. The following decisions were made against the Ghana Rugby Football Association vice president:
Mr James Nunoo is ordered to pay a fine of £1,000 as compensation for the moral damage suffered by Coralie van den Berg.
The decisions of Rugby Africa must be respected or sanctions will be imposed.
The sanction takes effect from the date of notification of this award.
Mr James Nunoo has 8 clear days to appeal against this award;
This period runs from the notification of this award, which will be made by email or fax directly to James Nunoo and the Ghana Rugby Union (GRU).
The decision will be notified to Rugby Africa and World Rugby.
The decision will also be notified to the relevant Ministry and the Ghana Olympic Committee.
This appeal is not suspensive.
