Gaborone, Botswana – 04 September 2024 – The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) is pleased to announce that our national rugby team, Vultures, has officially been confirmed for a series of upcoming matches as they prepare for international competition. These fixtures will serve as vital preparatory games, culminating in the selection of the final traveling squad of 25 players who will proudly represent Botswana in Morocco between 7th November 2024 until 18th November 2024 for the Rugby Africa Cup qualifiers.

Leopards vs. Vultures
Date: 7th September 2024
Location: Mafikeng, South Africa

Vultures vs. Lesotho
Date: 28th September 2024
Location: Gaborone, Botswana

Vultures vs. Matebeleland
Date: 19th October 2024
Location: Gaborone, Botswana

Commitment and Preparation
The initial squad has demonstrated immense dedication and hard work during their preparation, and we are confident that this series of matches will further sharpen their skills and teamwork. The final squad selection will be made following these fixtures, with the 25 best players chosen to represent Botswana on the international stage.
