The Africa games 2023 has taken off in Accra Ghana. The tournament will see the participation of rugby Men & Men teams across Africa participate for the first time in the history of the games. The Men’s teams will include Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tunusia, Burkina-Faso and Benin while the Women’s teams will include Uganda, Tunisia, Madagasca, Ghana and Nigeria.
The rugby games will take place between March 19-21 2024 at the newly constructed rugby stadium at the university of Ghana, Legon, Accra. The Men’s games takes off with Kenya and Benin in the first game while Ghana faces off with Nigeria to open the Women’s games.
